Hoe laat begint het uitgaansleven in Thessaloniki?+

Laat, op zijn Grieks. Het diner begint zelden voor 21–22 uur, bars beginnen pas na 23 uur vol te lopen, en de drukste uren liggen rond 1 tot 3 uur 's nachts. Clubs en de arcades van Valaoritou gaan in het weekend door tot zonsopgang, dus er is geen haast om vroeg te komen.

Waar zijn de beste bars in Thessaloniki?+

Valaoritou is de motor van de scene — de verborgen textielarcades, zoals Stoa Malakopi, zitten nu vol cocktailbars en muziekplekken. Ladadika bij de haven mengt taverna's met late bars, en de kust langs de Nikis-laan heeft meer ontspannen terrassen. Het hele centrum is te voet af te leggen, dus de meesten gaan lopend van bar naar bar.

Heeft Thessaloniki dakbars?+

Ja. Orizontes bekroont het Electra Palace pal aan het Aristotelous-plein, Ennea ligt boven op het MonAsty-hotel, en The Loft bekroont het The Met-hotel bij de haven — allemaal met uitzicht over de stad of de Thermaïsche Golf. De meeste bars en dakterrassen zijn gratis toegankelijk en soepel over kleding — smart-casual volstaat ruim. Clubs en de livemuziek-bouzoukia kunnen entree vragen of een fles/minimumbesteding verwachten, plus een iets nettere look aan de deur, vooral in het weekend.
