A big, polished ouzeri-grill out in the seaside suburb of Kalamaria, with a high-ceilinged room whose tall windows look across the Thermaic Gulf. The kitchen works the northern-Greek repertoire — charcoal-grilled meats, a long parade of ouzo meze, seafood and mageirefta — and it stays busy enough (thousands of reviews) that booking helps at weekends. A short hop from the centre and worth it for a proper sit-down grill by the water.
