A rare thing for the city — a dedicated Georgian restaurant, up towards the upper town, serving the hearty cooking of the Caucasus to a devoted local following. The draw is the classics done properly: soup-filled khinkali dumplings eaten by hand, cheese-filled khachapuri and slow-cooked meats, in a calm, softly-lit room. A genuine change of pace from the Greek tavernas, and one of the higher-rated tables around.
