One of the atmospheric survivors of old Ladadika, set in a handsome early-20th-century building with a sweeping wooden bar, high glazed roof and shelves of wine. It runs as an all-day café and mezedopoleio-restaurant — coffee and ouzo meze by turns — and has long been a landmark of the district's revival. The setting is as much the point as the plate: grilled octopus, meze and a glass of something local under the old rafters.
